Come to class at 6:30am at the Chippewa Family Restaurant.
Bring your Bible and your appetite (cost of the meal is on
your own). Topic: 1 Thessalonians led by Pastor Mathews &
Pastor Plautz.
High School Bible Class - “Do you really believe that what
you believe is really real?” --
Come Wednesday nights at 5pm and be a part of the study:
“Does God Exist?” The lessons will equip you with the
ability to defend your faith and become a world changer…in
an increasingly hostile culture. Leader: Sue Smith
Thursday Morn Bible Study --
Class meets at 9:30am. If you’re thinking about joining a
daytime Bible study, this one is for you! Leader: Pastor
Mathews.
Thursday Eve Women’s Bible Class -
Women’s Bible class will resume on Thursday, September 9 at
6pm here at church. If you are looking for an evening class,

Choir Meeting

Help form the Faith Lutheran Choir! Come to a meeting
tonight at 7pm. Throughout the summer months, Doug Parker &
Judy Brist have been busy planning for choir performances
this fall. Be a part of this fun opportunity! Share your
singing abilities.
Donations Needed

12 packs of soda
(pop) and water are needed for the Family Fun-Movie Night on
Friday, August 20th. Leave your donation in the
church kitchen by Thursday, August, 19th.
Outdoor Movie
Helpers Needed --
People are needed
to help set up, serve refreshments, clean-up etc. Contact
Lyle or Lisa Hackler at (715)559-9780.
Notice the jungle?
People are needed to help our young students navigate the
jungle. The following staff are needed for our Sunday
Morning Kingdom Quest program:

3-6 people for large group presentations (puppeteers, skit
performers)
·
1 person to be a small group shepherd
·
1 teacher for grades 7-8
·
An additional teacher for Nursery-Kindergarten
·
1 person to lead/direct/coordinate the Kingdom Quest program

Thrivent Choice
Dollars --
Eligible Thrivent Financial benefit members will receive a
letter in August about designating “Choice Dollars” for
2010. Potential amounts will range from $25 to $500 for each
eligible benefit member. Please consider directing your
Choice dollars to the ministry needs of Faith Lutheran

Budgetary Shortfall

With the summer months upon us the budgetary needs of our
church have come to a shortfall of $10,000. Everyone’s
support of our ministry here makes a big difference! Please
prayerfully consider supporting the effort of reducing this
debt.

Faith Christian Preschool Registration --

are offering an afternoon class (Mon.Tues.Thurs.) to
families with 3-5year olds
(Must be 3
by March 1) 12-2:30pm.
